The first-ever Back to School Celebration, hosted by the Madison Christian School Diversity Committee, was not only a successful blessing for everyone in attendance, but the gathering also exceeded all expectations! The event - which took place on a hot, steamy evening on Friday, August 27 from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. - featured multiple vendors selling food, protein shakes, cotton candy, iced coffees, and miscellaneous artifacts. With 450+ individuals who attended, it is no wonder that several of the food trucks sold out of their specialties.
The night included craft tables, games, and beautiful musical performances from several of our own MCS stakeholders. The fellowship, positive atmosphere, and smiles on faces were refreshing and inspiring. The MCS Diversity Committee would like to thank Madison Christian School, Madison Christian Church, administration, faculty, all of the wonderful volunteers, students, alumni, and parents for an evening that we all will remember and talk about for a very long time.
