At our January Elementary Chapel, Mr. Brian Coyan spoke to our K-6 students about God's Word. He compared knowing God's Word to using tools when measuring: We use a measuring tape so we know the truth of how long something is. When we use God's Word, we are using it as our tool of Truth to fight against the lies that the world tells us.
Mr. Coyan challenged our students with the acronym READ: R-Read your Bible, E-be Enlightened by it, A-Activate it, D-Do it all over again. The students came away from chapel more equipped to study God's Word and use it as a tool of Truth!
