Eagles for a Cause: Strikeout Cancer

The Madison Christian High School Baseball and Softball Teams recently held their 2022 Eagles for a Cause event, Strikeout Cancer, in memory of Megan Luke, a beloved MCS employee and school parent who lost her battle with cancer in March.

The teams raised just over $4000 for the Luke Family Scholarship Fund to support the ongoing emotional, spiritual, and physical growth of the Luke children as they navigate the road ahead after the loss of their mother.

Eagles for a Cause supports an organization or a cause through our athletic programs, allowing our student-athletes to have a positive impact on our community. Athletic teams choose a cause to be highlighted and supported at one of the contests during their respective seasons. All proceeds (including game admission and t-shirt sales) from the event are donated to the selected organization.
