High School (9th-12th)
FURNISHING THE GOOD LIFE, FUELING A FUTURE
Madison Christian's High School includes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th Grade. The focus of our Christian high school is shaping students' souls to learn Truth, love beauty, and live goodness.
As the Rhetoric Stage of our high school Classical Christian Education, students continue to order their thinking by adding the adornment of beautiful and articulate language. They begin to re-integrate their knowledge, but now with analysis and meaning, developing personal convictions grounded in a Christian worldview. Students are able to articulate not only what is true but also why it is true. The “great conversation” is continued through classic texts that challenge students to develop good aesthetic tastes, think more deeply about the world, and to value the pursuit of wisdom and virtue.
As students approach graduation, there is a “crowning” that takes place as students complete their Senior Thesis which is designed to demonstrate what they have learned throughout each phase of their education. Our goals for our entire program can be summed up in the MCS Portrait of a Graduate.
