FORGING A FOUNDATION IN WONDER
Madison Christian's Primary School includes Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd Grade.
As the first part of the Grammar Stage of our elementary Classical Christian Education, the primary school years are spent exploring God’s foundational Truths as a lens through which we expose our students to classic children’s literature, interactive history and geography studies, along with hands-on math and science exploration. Madison Christian School also provides extensive foundational skills in the area of literacy.
With a maximum classroom size of 18 students, our teachers take students on a journey of integrated subjects through art, music, and literature – giving their minds and hearts good things to feast upon. In these years, students are growing the habits of learning: attentiveness, careful and more complex reading, communicating effectively, following directions, and becoming more self-disciplined. Students gain the confidence that comes from learning to stick with a task and master it. In addition to the core subjects, primary students look forward to Art, Music, PE, and Library classes.
